Check out my new design for a two-colour screenprint. Made this design because I’m lately very much into riding my (new) bike through the city I live, Amsterdam. And as you might know..”It’s a jungle out there!” So get rid of your car and ride your bike! Soon available….
A couple of years ago I received an email wich was the inspiration for these two paintings. I wasn’t inspired by the content of the email itself, but by a little line in the email signature “Save trees. Print only when necessary”.
I admit, I was printing a lot of emails just to remember the messages, wasn’t even paying attention on the small amount of text I was printing. When I received the mail with the “green” signature I realized I spoiled a lot of paper for no particular reason. And unfortunley I was not the only one. “Americans use enough sheets every year to build a 10-fot-high wall that would stretch from NewYork to Tokyo and beyond. That’s a lot of paper and trees”.
